Rectal increase benzo&pheno bioavability&absorption

So i was looking through rectal route for drug such as phenobarbital(which can be obtain more easily than N) and benzo, opioid, etc and wonder
Since i read rectal bypass upper gastro and can speed up and increase absorption/bioavailability.

Then it would be possible to use phenobarbital and benzo and opioid to ctb is it?

although i still have to research how many percent it would increase the speed absorption bioavailability.



here is one side that i found stating rectal route have been given to people in palliative care needing benzo, opioid, barbiturate, etc

I'm new here but I'm left wondering the same. There's so much talk about antiemetics and vomiting concern, but almost nothing about using rectal administration of these drugs. Personally I'm thinking of backing up any of these methods with an equal dose per rectum.
