Tbh where I'm from it doesn't seem so hard to get a gun pass. just gonna ask an instructor how to use guns, tell him "hey I think I really like shooting guns and I wanna own one" and he's gonna tell me "yeah that's great you just need to get permission to own guns so they can make sure you're not mentally ill" and then I'm like "yeah of course that's easy I won't kill anyone or myself. bye thank you" then when they check me and my background all they will find is my social anxiety history and that one time I got caught shoplifting at 16. now hopefully that won't affect much. it's not like that hints at any tendency to kill people right??and it doesn't make me seem suicidal not much.. I will prove to them I have healed mentally and explain that when i shoplifted i only stole food and because I felt bad for spending my parents money. I swear. if by any chance I get allowed to buy guns and have enough saved up to buy one I'll buy a cheap shotgun. Pump actions seem fun so I'll buy those. before i use it on myself I will have fun trying them at the range. I'll use a 12ga with a deadly enough load. hmm maybe I'll actually enjoy shooting guns that it becomes a strong enough reason to live, and in the future I'll be a broke middle aged woman who spends all her time at the range and I would remember that time I wanted to kill myself with my first gun
