Help questions on SN

so after reading alot here is SN that hard to get in the USA because just a quick google search they have it for sale at a tractor supply shop down the road. is this not the right SN? White yellowish poweder that resembles sticky salt? they even have it in liquid form by the gallon. Amazon has it as well say 99% pure chile salpeter sodium nitrate for cheap.. its like 20$ just looking for insite here for this method

It's sodium nitrite not nitrate

not sure about the tractor supply shop one, but i think you might be confusing sodium nitrite (NaNO2) with the chile salpeter sodium nitrate (NaNO3 iirc)...when i last checked, all the sodium nitrite meat curing products you could buy on amazon were of super low purity; if you bought a pack, you'd have to perform the filtration yourself before taking it ^^;

It's sodium nitrite not nitrate

yeah.. it's supposed to be sodium nitrite with an i instead of an a; i suppose sodium nitrate might work??? iirc the nitrate has to convert to nitrite before taking effect, which means that you'd need a MUCH higher dose. fishersci indicates that the ld50 of nitrate is >10x higher than the ld50 of nitrite; i don't think it's possible to take in that much substance at once lolol

I took the SN as per instructions and I fell asleep and woke up an hour later but I was fine.. where could I have mate the mistake? Or my organs still damagef? Please let me know, Im mdesperate and if i should try it once more or not Thank u!

thank you for the thread link!! though i already said above that you'd need to take way over 10x the amt of sn you would take to have a chance at a successful attempt--for this reason it's not feasible ^^; if you took the same amt of nitrate you would for sn, then the avg person would probably just wake up with indigestion or extremely gradual signs of poisoning.

there's an ld50 for everything, but since the value measures how much you need to consume in a near-instantaneous span of time, you should choose what you ingest carefully!
