  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hi, I would like to preface this by saying your answers may be used in a project.
The project is supposed to be a documentary pertaining to the subject of resilience and how recovery has helped you overcome challenges.

I am making this project to connect with others and document my own mental health journey. I am looking for support and I apologize if this is insensitive.

I will try to be as respectful as I can

1. Are there any particular significant goals that reflect resilience in your mental health journey? If so, tell me about them
2. What has made you into the person you are now? How have you grown as a person?
3. Where are you now in your journey compared to when you started recovery?
4. Any coping strategies to strengthen mental wellness?
5. What has kept you motivated to improve?
Thank you

1. To be very honest, no. I guess something is that I stopped thinking about death but it still comes up in my brain from time to time.
2. My friends 100%. They helped me alot by making me not feel like an outcast and including me in stuff that mattered. From socialising Ive grown a lot in becoming open to more things and that helped me get into a relationship.
3. I havent gotten that far from my start of recovery self. You would definitely see a difference in how much I speak and socialise. Other than that Im still mostly the same on the outside. Inside, I dont really fantasize death anymore like I used to.
4. never have had any. Ive found reason to be here and thats all I need, Ive also become religious so that also played a role in my recovery.
5. It has evolved a bit. It used to be my friends. They gave me joy in life. Then, a friend who had previously cut herself and had other mental problems turned out to like me. We became a couple and started helping each other improve. Then I found meaning in life in starting a family with her and to top it all off, she and her own family was orthodox and they introduced me to it and now I am also a believer of god. and I cant ctb now, so Im trying to live the best life I can.

sorry if its a bit long of a response.

1- I guess a goal that I have is to be able to get back from a depressive episode no matter how bad it may be and to be able to recover/cope better with life.
2- I can't say I'm 100% happy with the person I am currently, but I think that I've realized that life moves on anyways so you have to keep pushing forward and try your best to cope with things. So I think knowing these has made me have a better view on life
3- I'm in the beginning stages of recovery right now. I began seeing a therapist like 2 months ago and she's currently considering if I might be bipolar or not (but I'm not diagnosed yet)
4-I think that moving your body is a really great coping skill, so I go to the gym a lot but also just any physical activity in general can be good such as taking a walk or riding a bike can really help. I also like to minimize screen time (typically during nighttime and morning time). And taking to friends, eating well and going to aquariums have really helped me.
5- something that really helps me motivated to improve is the hope that some day things might get better if I try.

( I hope this helped for your project :) )
