Hello everyone. My name was originally supposed to say the cops and I wish I could change the entire name now but too late, huh.

I'm glad I found this forum. I had been lurking years before I signed up recently. I read the rules but I have some questions before I feel comfortable posting any revealing thoughts here.

1. I am in the United States and I am concerned that people here call the cops on people who talk the way those on here do.

Has anyone ever had the cops called on them after they posted their plans or thoughts on here in particular? This is very important for me to know.

2. I came here to overcome my fear of the discomfort of death. I'm not afraid of what happens after I die but I am afraid of the process.

2A.) If you have already overcome the fear, what helped you?

2B.) If you were close to dying before, how did it feel?

3.) I've been lurking here for awhile but apparently not good enough. What does 'N' stand for on here, please?

These questions do not suggest I am suicidal or not. I am just wanting to know the answers.

Thanks for at least reading.

No one has called the cops on me yet (I sometimes wish they would, the cops here are attractive and I need some eye candy. IM KIDDING). Why would they? They would have to admit they themselves were on a pro choice forum and could get hauled off as well. Also I'm sure there are people here smart enough to figure out your exact location, but very few with enough energy to go through all that. Don't leave your browser open in public if you're worried about someone you know finding out.

-- just realizing the hopelessness of the situation and that death by aging and increasing aches and pains is much worse.

2B.) If you were close to dying before, how did it feel?
--i've had the sensation of suffocating due to sleep paralysis; I thought i was gonna die on several occasions. It's a desperate struggle to start moving again; if only i could move, i can start breathing. Terrifying at first but i experience it so frequently that it's not that scary anymore.

The attractive cop thing made me laugh. I was hoping for the answer that there is a rule on here that prevents the cops being called. But I guess not..

The cops were called on me back in 2014 even though I had been texting through an app..So, I am traumatized by that and just wonder...

Oh yikes! I'd be traumatized and cautious too. Really just don't give out your personal info and I don't think a member of SS would call. I'd only worry if someone you know finds out about the site.

I have had police called on myself numerous times because I tried to "talk" with "trusted" friends and other people. Needless to say I am constantly asked why I don't speak to them anymore or speak to others in a very limited fashion. Whether you find this site through search or by accident you have found a place where you will NOT be belittled and where your need to speak of such things will result in contact with any LEO's. I too am suspicious of what the actual act of dying feels like. When I had one of two NDE's I can tell you getting close resulted in a sense of peace I had never known in my life. In regards to your other queries my friend I would say the responses here are pretty accurate. Good luck sir....or as we used to say in the USN; "Welcome aboard".

Maybe I'm a bit paranoid but I'm afraid the internet provider or police folks anonymously watch places like this..especially because this place was recently in the news..which is what reminded me to return here recently.

I cannot post anything even remotely close to anything sounding suicidal if I were having those thoughts because of this issue about the police. It's not fair for people to do that.

Furthermore, the police take you to a psychward and where I live the psychward for those without insurance makes patients sleep on the floor. The other issue is that a man was just arrested for trying to rape patients in that psychward. To consider going back there is worse than anything to me.

Thanks so much for sharing a brief story about your experiences. I'm guessing the LEOs are the cops. (Sorry for my airhead moment.)

The closest to an NDE I had was during sleep. I went to a place and never wanted to wake up ..but I do wonder about if the brain has anything to do with that..

Thanks for welcoming me..although I'm a girl..maybe it's a good thing for my incog for others to think I'm a man.

Yes, I've thought about the old age thing. I even think about the fact someday, ALL of us will have to go through dying. We simply prolong our death by trying to "eat right" and "drive safely" but eventually we won't have a choice.

And I never considered the sleep paralysis thing. The suffocating is one of the main issues I have with overcoming fear of death..which is the main reason I am here. Thinking about trying to breathe but not being able to is a torturous concept.

Yet, if I return to my first paragraph it creates a momentary mental ease.

Any legal intervention just worsens the situation. But what if that's the goal? They get rid of problematic people, and at the same time use it to push their own agenda.

See, you just gave some personal info out right now. Be careful.

If you wish to protect your anonimity, use TOR and a VPN. Windscribe is a good one that exists also as an extension for Mozilla (and thus will work with Tor Browser as well) and the traffic they give you for free is enough to hang around here. Avoid browsing from your mobile if you're on a contract. That's the few basic tips I can give you.

LEO is short for Law Enforcement Officer btw. So yes, cops.

Hi, Jake! I'm using Epic, as after getting a new PC I couldn't get TOR to work. Have you heard of "Epic"?

I didn't consider giving away my gender would do much as I live with several other people. (I don't think that would, either.)

I thought I read in the rules that we weren't allowed to use VPNs, otherwise I would have tried that. I guess I misread.

To tell you all the truth, I appreciate your replies. I think I am too paranoid to post here like I originally intended..and I did want to know what N stood for but I guess I will simply continue lurking and liking posts.

That's the most comfortable route at this moment. Thank you once again for taking the time to engage and sorry if I was annoying in any form.
Update: I now know what N means.
