Questions about stabbing myself in the heart

What knife do I need for this method and will it be painless and will it be a big mess and how long do I need to wait before I pass out and die?

I think it's something VERY difficult to perform due to how the body is structured - ribcage and lungs are in the way. To actually succeed and for it to be fast you'd need to hit where aorta is, which again is hidden behind muscle tissue and heart's position/structure. What to expect is a slow bleeding out with major pain, since the body is going to be freaking out BAD to the damage done to it...

Pretty much no chance I'd say. Like Kodokushi said it's hard to reach due to the ribcage and there's no way the death would be painless. If you managed to hit the heart just right it could be fast but in no world will it be painless and it's just too unlikely that you'd hit it just right. I also think some people really underestimate how much willpower and force it takes to actually stab yourself as opposed to cutting for self harm for example. Most likely your SI will stop you from being able to stab yourself (fatally). This method or just suicide by stabbing in general is not really worth it ever I'd say

Go for the lung, instead.

Stab below the armpit.

It's a method that I've been considering.
