Questions About SN in the UK

Hello! Well, after spending a couple of months on this forum, learning about the different methods and about my personal method I already had in mind when joining, I still intend on doing the method I originally wanted to (albeit, amended). However, I would like the choice, in case I change my mind or it doesn't work or what not, and I fear potential increasing restrictions on SN. As a result, I'd like to get some now just so I have a backup.

I just have a few questions that I'm sure I've generally read the answers to elsewhere on the forum, but I'm kind of paranoid and like to make dead sure and clear about stuff. (dead sure.... genuinely pun not intended. I laughed at that when reading this back to make sure I didn't leave anything out....)

Can I get SN in the UK? If so, anyone know a good source and much does it cost?

Obviously I presume I should be secretive about SN, but is it illegal? If I have it delivered to my house, could I be monitored and get a visit from the police or something? I know that probably sounds ridiculous, but I've heard stories of police coming around because they thought someone ordered 'nitrate' instead of 'nitrite'.

I've never bought anything like this online before so I'm just curious: how do you pay for it? I kind of feel like it might be.... dodgy using PayPal or my bank card or the usual way you buy things online that has my real name and other details? Though maybe I'm wrong. But, how is it done?

Would I be allowed to order two? Or maybe even three.... I know this sounds weird, especially considering I'm doing this as a backup, but I'm paranoid enough that I'd like a backup of the backup lol. I've previously wasted 'material' accidentally and want to make sure, if I make the same mistake, I won't have to stress about trying to get some more. The only thing I'm thinking is, if the people selling SN know the purpose for why people like us are buying it (idk if it has other purposes) if they hear someone wants more than one, they might be like 'okay, that's weird, sounds like someone's got dodgy planes against others, better go to the police'. Or maybe take some other action. I don't know. Just in general, could buying SN leave me vulnerable in some way by whoever? Just something I'm concerned about I guess.

And how is it generally delivered? Just like a typical Royal Mail or Hermes or something like that, or what? Is it packaged just like a normal package would be? I don't live alone so am fearful someone in my apartment might get to the door before I do and take it in instead. Which is fine, of course, unless there's a reason they'd be suspicious of it? (i.e. Unusual packaging emblazoned with 'Sodium Nitrite' on it or something. Any indication that it's some kind of toxic or suspicious substance from the packaging or what not.)

And when I receive it how do I know if it's genuine and will actually work?

Considering I want to keep it as a backup, can I keep it in storage for years without using it? (I believe so) And, if so, anyone got any tips for the best way to store it?

I really appreciate any light people can shine on this for me. I'm sorry if I seem really specific, I've just never done anything like this (ordering this type of thing) before and want to make sure I do it as safely and properly as I can. Having SN as a backup I can have for years would take a great deal of pressure off me I think.

I have a source for SN in the UK if you like. It's not illegal and customs had zero problem with it, but you'll need id to order and must be at least 21. It's the only source I know of I'm afraid, and it's a little bit expensive but hey what else are any of us spending money on that's so important to us? Idk. It's a bit over £100 when I ordered a few months ago for 100g. Don't worry at all about the bank or PayPal. They didn't care. The transaction would never go through if they had problems with it like they do with sources in China or India via Alibaba because of the chances of just being scammed - it's not illegal at all to buy or have or import - it's just there are restrictions on sellers in the UK to sell to businesses etc which makes it so incredibly hard to get here.

Order as many as you like - but only 100g at a time or you'll get charged customs fees and might have to answer awkward questions. If that happens though, just say it's curing salt for meat and I'm pretty sure they'll let it through. You won't have the police called on you unless someone is EXTREMELY clued up and wants to inspect the inside, and comes to the conclusion you want to kill yourself with it. Worst case scenario, if you fuck up as badly as you possibly can by letting something slip, you could end up being carted to a osych ward. But that's worst case scenario.

I can't remember how it was delivered sorry. Can't even remember if it needed a signature. But the packet's custom label just said "sodium salt" which basically to most people just sounds like it's got to be table salt. So don't worry.

If sealed, it could last a lifetime without degrading below 95% which is the minimum strength recommended. I'm planning to use mine in 30 years or more!! Just keep it sealed 99.9% of the time and it'll be fine for as long as you're alive. To test it, out some on blood, it should turn brown.

I just hope you do just keep it just in case. Please never use it impulsively!!!

Yes, 100g is exactly what you need, it makes 4 glasses. You should read Stan's guide on SN, find it using the search bar.

I prefer PayPal, it's quicker but it's up to you.

We hide sources to protect them otherwise pro-lifers read the forums and shut the sources down. It's the only source I know of remaining so we need to protect it. It's definitely not illegal. I'm sure you'll be fine.
