1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes.
2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Yes. I wouldn't be alive to feel guilty.
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
I'd probably stay alive a little longer to do some cool things but I'd go through with it soon after.
4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly disappeared?
I'm not physically sick.
5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Honestly?? Maybe I wouldn't. I'm not too sure.
6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
My wish would be for everything to always go perfectly and how I want it to. I'm not sure if I'd go through with it or not after that. Maybe I'd get bored.
7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
Probably.
8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
Definitely. I'm hoping there isn't.
9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
I think I would.
10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
I don't think so. Not anymore.

1. There's no one for me to bring back to life that would stop it

2. I know who would die and no, that would not stop me either. I would hope they find a low stress, effective method

3. No, I wouldn't because riches could treat my deformity

4. No, I would not. My physical condition is the only existing problem in my life.

5. absolutely not, I would be free of the affliction.

6. No, and I would wish we all became enlightened and that would end a lot for many people.

7.Too much good came from my scarring so it's difficult to erase the past. I'd rather just do better moving forward.

8. an afterlife isn't necessary, we all die either way.

9. That would be the best way to go, leaving no misery behind.

10. My husband keeps me here

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
Yes. Anyone I bring back I would just be continuing their suffering after they finally found peace and that's not fair to them at all.

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Of course. While I feel bad it's their choice to take their lives. I shouldn't be held accountable for the actions of others outside of my control.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
Definitely. I might stall for a little bit just to visit some places I've always wanted to visit but I'd still go through with it none the less.

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
I'm not physically sick so this one doesn't really apply.

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
Yeah definitely. While this would be nice it's not worth continuing to suffer just so I can look the way I've always wanted.

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?
I guess I wouldn't in this case since honestly I could just wish for true paradise on earth for all living creatures. Which would make life worth living I guess.

7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
Absolutely. Reliving those 10 years would be hell even with the knowledge I have now. I would never want to go back.

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
That actually makes me want to go more knowing that my suffering ends for sure.

9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
I would still go through with it. The memory of me will be forgotten in a few generations anyway. The passing of time will do this anyway.

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
If there is then that just means I haven't met or learned of that thing yet. But honestly I don't think anything or anyone could in the end.

1. Not sure, I don't know who to bring back
2. I'd go with them together
3. Date will be delayed, I'll be travelling first
4. N/A
5. 99% chance no
6. No, and if wishing for more wishes isn't an option, then I'd wish for true love
7. Yes. Knowledge doesn't really matter, I just want love
8. Of course
9. Yes, I don't want them to feel pain from my nonexistence
10. As pathetic as this sounds, if the person I love does his best to stop me, then I won't do it. If it doesn't matter to him, I'll do it.

Overall, it still isn't guaranteed whether or not I'll CTB. But true love is the highest factor affecting this. I like that you posted this questionnaire for us.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
I have nobody I would like to get back to life

2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
Yes.

3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
It would delayed my day, surely, but I doubt that being rich would fix my existential crisis

4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?
I'm not sick

5. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
I'm ok with my appearance

6. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish
7. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?

No to both. Literally I would be happy to go back in time for even 5 years and fix all that mess I have created.

8. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.
Yes.

9. Would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away? All the memories, everything. "If you kill yourself, no one will attend your funeral because nobody was aware of your existence, as that will be washed out from everyone's head the minute you die." - What would you say?
That would be even better though I don't care if some will attend my funeral

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
Yes.

Apologies but I'm a tad too depressed to work out how to copy/paste questions & give answers.

But this should answer most, if you fix my need for a wheelchair to get around, I would still have the mental health problems that came before. I would need a fix to the broken social care system to be even able to contemplate anything, no a load of money wouldn't really help as such, yes my care may be sorted but id still know that everyone else would still suffer the same fate I'm looking forward too & live now.
Also I have issues about were 'humanity's' going, the people that run things are sick in the head, seriously we are such a selfish fuck up of evolution that sometimes I can only hope that by the time we destroy ourselves there is still enough of a functioning planet that can support any form of life (I suspect that Cats are planning on taking over when we've fucked it up)

Honestly the answer would be no to all of them.

At this point, right now, nothing. If my decision rests solely on one circumstance then the paranoia of losing the one thing that pulled me off the cliff edge would slowly drive me crazy to the point where I'd actually instigate losing it.

1. Yes
2. I would need to know who to answer this question, but likely yes
3. That's already happened and here I am, though if I had my own house... if I became richer... maybe not. But then I'd be even more lonely. Though I barely talk with family anyway
4. N/A
5. That would take off a huge burden, it's a strong contender for "no"
6. No conflict and no worry of conflict
7. Absolutely not
8. That is a fact so it changes nothing
9. Memories are the most important thing about any person, but they always go away after dying; when I was in the hospital in a coma, many people admitted to not caring, though there were a few who did - this question does have me thinking, actually... I can't answer it
10. No

1. I'm not entirely sure -- my life might be different if this person was still here.
2. Probably not -- I would wanna make sure I'm there for my friends/loved one's, even if that means suffering?
That was a hard one.
3. I'd still go through with it -- I'd give my money to the one's I love and donate the rest.
4. N/A
5. I hate my appearance but if I love the way I look or not, that's not gonna change the stuff going on in my head and around me.
6. Yes -- it's hard to think of one rn. I think about this all the time though :/ Just wish the one's I love a peaceful life. That they don't have any harsh things happen.
7. Maybe? -- It's not really about the last ten years, but I think some things could change from 10 years back.
8. I'd rather be at peace than be crying most nights.
9. Yes -- anyways, I don't want a funeral. No one would show up and I don't want my life to be "celeberated" or cried about. Cremate my body, throw me in an urne, then sprinkle my ashes above my grandmothers grave.
10. I don't know

If your choice/decision is to (eventually) CBT, what or who would make you seriously reconsider that, if that's even possible? It can be anything or anyone. I have some questions I'd like you to answer, but feel free to only answer the question in the title. The questions down below are pretty random and no, I'm not saying either one of these should be a reason to change your mind. In my opinion, most of the times it shouldn't, but I'll get back to that. Take these questions as literal as possible.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?
2. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
3. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
4. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

I think I'm going to answer the questions tomorrow. It's late here and I'm tired.

Thanks in advance for answering the questions. It's not for school or research or anything. I got bored, went a little overboard and now I'm genuinely curious and interested in everyone's answers and opinions.
1. Probably not if I had anyone.

2. It depends. But if I really wanted to do so, they would never find out about it.

3. I'm not rich, but have enough money for everything I need. I hate money, it doesn't make me happy, so yes, I would do that.

4. My physical health is fine for now.

5. Probably not if I can choose to be attractive young female, in my opinion for those life is easier.

6. I wouldn't CTB. I don't know if I can, but I wish to have family, this is all I want and would trade everything I have for it anytime.

7. Dificult to say, sometimes even if you know something it doesn't mean you can change anything, sometimes it's not up to you.

8. I already know it and believe so. Yes, I would still do it.

9. It would happen anyway in most cases. Even those who know me will forget about me in a few days. I don't how about their memory, but I would like to erase everything in my mind, forget about this world and everything happend or could happen to me ever. Yes, I would still CTB.

10. I don't know anyone who would want to do that, but I would change my mind if needed anyone.

1) Yes.
2) It may sound freaky, but yes. I doubt it'd be anyone I know either way.
3) Yeah I'd buy N and do it comfortably.
4) Not sick
5) Yep.
6) For the world to not be so shit.
7) Yes. I mean I was a 10 year old, I'd be an innocent child that gets abused by parents even if I did have the knowledge I do now. Why would I re-live my traumas...
8) I'm an atheist so yeah pretty much.
9) I like it. Eventually it'll happen with all of us... one day the last human will die and our memories will fade away, stale in this cold floating rock that the Sun will melt someday. There is no use in clinging to something that is bound to fade away.
10) No.

1. Would you still go through with it if you could bring 1 person back to live?

Yes

2
. Would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you knew (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?

I would probably try to hold off.

3
. Would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?

I don't know. Maybe not if I was extremely rich and could afford to constantly distract myself.

4
. If you're physically sick rn, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly dissapeared?

That would probably be enough to stop me, but I don't know for sure.

5
. Would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?

Yes

6
. Would you still go through with it if you could make 1 wish, being able to wish for literally anything and if so, what would be your wish?

No, not if I could either relive my life with the knowledge I have now, be reborn as someone else into a good family, or be all better physically and mentally.

7
. Would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?

No

8
. Would you still go through with it if you knew for 1000% sure there would be absolutely NOTHING after dying? No Hell, Heaven, an afterlife, reincanation, etc. etc.

Yes

9

I'm pretty sure that's how it will be anyway, so, yes.

10
. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?

If I could relive my life with the knowledge I have now, be reborn as someone else into a good family, or be all better physically and mentally.

decided to redo this questionnaire again a year and a half later...

1. would you still go through with it if you could bring one person back to life?
yes. even if i could bring my grandmother back to life, it probably wouldn't be enough to keep me alive.

2. would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you know (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
depends on who they are. but for the sake of answering the question i've chosen three people in my head and the answer is still yes.

3. would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
not at first, but ultimately yes.

4. if you're physically sick right now, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly disappeared?
yes. i only have asthma and having asthma doesn't contribute anything to my mental illnesses.

5. would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
yes. i would still have my mind torturing me even if i had my ideal body.

6. would you still go through with it if you could make one wish? if so, what would be your wish?
no. i'd wish for the person i love to come back to me and apologize for all the trauma they caused me.

7. would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
no. everything went downhill the second i turned 10 and i'm almost 20 now, so i'd be able to go back to 9 years old and do everything right this time.

8. would you still go through with it if you knew for sure there would be absolutely nothing after dying? no hell, heaven, an afterlife, reincarnation, etc.
yes. death scares me but i'd also be at peace. my thoughts wouldn't be able to hurt me anymore.

9. would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away?
no.

10. is there anything or anyone at all that could change your decision?
yes. see question 6.

1. would you still go through with it if you could bring one person back to life?
yes.

2. would you still go through with it if you knew that three people you know (no specification on who exactly) would kill themselves right after you, leaving their loved ones behind?
If it was certain people, no.

3. would you still go through with it if you suddenly became rich?
In time, for sure.

4. if you're physically sick right now, would you still go through with it if your physical illness suddenly disappeared?
yes. I'm not really physically sick. It's MH issues.

5. would you still go through with it if you could choose exactly what your appearance looks like?
yes. I am not unattractive now and never had a problem there. That's not the issue, for sure.

6. would you still go through with it if you could make one wish? if so, what would be your wish?
not if I could wish for me to enjoy life daily, without endless thoughts of death/suicide.

7. would you still go through with it if you could do the last 10 years all over again with all the knowledge you have now?
no. I'd give it my best shot from there at minimum. My condition wasn't nearly as bad at that point.

8. would you still go through with it if you knew for sure there would be absolutely nothing after dying? no hell, heaven, an afterlife, reincarnation, etc.
Of course. That's what I'm looking for, and I'd say science leads me to believe that's the case. I'm 99% sure it's nothingness, but of course no-one knows as of now.

9. would you still go through with it if that meant your entire existence would go away?
yes.

10. is there anything or anyone at all that could change your decision?
yes. If my mental health and other issues went away.

10. Is there anything or anyone at all who could you change your decision?
1. No, nobody would make me not want to ctb.
2. Yes, other people would not influence my decision to ctb, I would never stay alive just for the sake of others. If they ctb I would not be alive to see it.
3. Money cannot take away any of my problems, and I simply do not like living. No matter what I would rather not exist.
4. I do have physical problems and while getting rid of them could make me hold on longer, I would still want to ctb.
5. Yes, my appearance is not why I want to ctb, it is not a factor
6. Possibly not, if I wished the world was free of all suffering. However being suicidal is a part of me, so I am not sure if anything can change the way I feel.
7. Yes, with all the knowledge I have now I would probably ctb at an earlier date, if I went back in time
8 Yes, nothingness is what I want, I do not believe in any afterlife/reincarnation
9. I would ideally love for that to happen, it is my ideal situation. I want to be erased.
10. Ctb is inevitable no matter what, suicidal thoughts are a part of me and I simply do not like living.
