Question about using a shotgun

I've got a 12 gauge shotgun, would slugs or buckshot be better (assuming I can actually go through with it this time)?

What kind of buckshot? Is it #4 #2 etc? A one ounce slug will do about the same as #2 buck.

The slugs are one ounce, the buckshot is 2-3/4 inch with 9 pellets, not sure what kind that is.

Both will work about the same. Be careful with this method cause it's tricky. Aims gotta be just right or you'll just blow your face off and possibly live. Also make sure you know it's what you want and have exhausted other options in your life. Either way I respect your decision.

Maybe find a better more peaceful way to depart. At least leave your vessel intact for your burial…

At point blank range to the temple both would be equally as effective, espically as the gasses from the blast would cause immediate brain death.

If you check thru all the threads on here, you'll def find better painless methods. But sorry if I upset you. It's your life you choose how & when you go. Whichever path you choose I wish nothing but the best for you in this life and the next.

That way works. I thought about shooting myself until I came across this site and discovered SN. I'd perfer a more peaceful way out but I will say this. Me personally I was gonna pull the front ear flap back a bit and aim lower to factor in for recoil or if my hands got shaky.

Yeah.. I heard people saying they don't want to do a gun and I saw a few comments on a different site saying they aren't suicidal anymore because of how messy suicide is. (SN isn't pretty either you turn black and blue). For me i see this as a good thing if it blows a large part of my head off because I actually WANT to die and instantly!! Lol. Makes me wonder if people are actually suicidal if they care so much about mess it makes them not suicidal anymore. The only not messy way I can think of is N but that is impossible to obtain now unfortunately since D went cold. Damn. I just wish we could have legal euthanasia here. We do it for pets why not us
