I'm worried SN might not be a good method for me. I've thrown up twice in the last month from what I think is acid reflux. It's always on a full stomach. What do you think? Should I still use SN? I think I'm too inept to do partial, but I think if you get it right, partial would be more pleasant than SN. I can't even tie a good knot. I don't really want to make it to 33, but I don't have a good method for me. Is carbon monoxide poisoning more pleasant than SN?

That's a tough one. How are you on an empty stomach? Do you take anything like Prilosec?

I'm planning on using it, despite stomach issues of my own. I have daily nausea and gastroparesis, but I believe with the right timing and meds I can make it work.

hi there, I'm pretty much in your situation apart from that I'm already 33 years old.
I tried full hanging on Friday in a remote location in the woods. Couldn't complete it because of survival instinct. I gave up and I had to spend the night in the woods in a small paraklis nearby in the cold, before I could get back to my car in the morning. Ridiculous story.
On Sunday I tried some partial hanging and I managed to get close to dizziness and blood pressure buildup in the face, and I ended up with some hemorrhages on the face and a little bit of a bloody eye.
Again ended with partial stuff because again survival instinct and I also don't really trust with this method.
Now I am purchasing required stuff for SN...

carbon monoxide poisoning is painless and not detected from the senses.... if u manage for a good setup in enclosed room or space its much more pleasant then other substances that make you throw up

I dry heave on an empty stomach. I don't take Prilosec. I'm just worried I'll vomit and then I'll have to call an ambulance if I don't want to be in agony.

I have nasty stomach issues due depression, anxiety and PTSD. I barely keep food down or eat. My doc prescribed zofran to help. I plan to use that.

I'll be using Zofran as well.

I wonder if I could mix in ginger extract. Ginger always works for me when I'm sick to my stomach and helps me 'hold it down'. Weed also makes me a lot less nauseous. I could potentially smoke a good amount of weed beforehand....

Huh you are the first person that I've notice mentioning smoking weed before hand. I wonder if that would help on several levels for taking SN.

I've asked about weed and the answers were not really positive; but I didn't get an actual physical/chemical reason. That's what I want to know. I'm not worried about being impared i just want to be sure physically that's okay

Edit: one person had made the point about not being able to drink anything which is a good point. Maybe I'll start smoking and only keep a tiny sip of water on me for a few hours and see if I can manage. (I get dehydrated so easy and neeed something to drink when I smoke)

To everyone planning on using Zofran, after months of research, I do not believe Zofran alone is good enough. It works in a different way for nausea. It's a good med and probably better than nothing, but it's not a substitute for any of the SN recommended antiemetics.

However, I'm planning on using Zofran plus Meto. It's my normal med, and I think it's a good backup, given my stomach issues. I'm not comfortable cutting Zofran out, since I've used it daily for several years.

Yeah I just put an order in for Zofran, I hope I get it

I think it's the one I'm familiar with from the past

I like to think it would be enough; ideally maybe it would make the SN kind of painless-feeling so even if I threw up I could have another glass of it

The weird EPS neck thing with Meto turns me off to it, plus I just don't like how I'm not very familiar with it

On the occasions I've tried out meclizine sometimes it bothers my stomach more than others, so in a situation where I couldn't get Meto or Zofran I'm not sure if I'd take meclizine

I'm pretty sure I'd take otc painkillers and antacids though (although I worry if taking the otc painkillers might make me slightly more likely to throw up, for some reason)
