Help Prepping for CTB... Questions on my Nitrogen setup

oh wait, my mistake... I think my roasting bags are 30l.... i guess it just sounds a lot! (plus when you said garbage bag, i was picturing a huge black bag!)

My exit bag setup is a:

• 30L garbage bag instead of an oven bag
• Duct tape instead of micropore
• And a rope instead of elastics

Interesting, a transparent garbage bag I would presume? Otherwise i would feel claustrophobic and it would be dark.

Is the choice of rope a preference or more of an urgency?

Nope. A colored one. BLUE. I will use the garbage bag because I didn't find any oven bags to buy...

It's just me improvising... I think that a normal rope with a Slipknot would work just as well as the elastic Band...

I thought something today....

I'm planning to do it in a hotel (mostly because I don't really have anywhere private to do it, plus it's a bit cold to comfortably do it out in the forest right now). And I was worrying about the prices of the rooms... but then I thought "screw it" it's not like i need to worry about my credit card bill after... so i think i might as well make my last night in this awful world, a semi-luxurious one... so I think I'm going to book a suite!

Anddddddddd all this talk about bags has got me doubting myself again....

I'm away from my setup atm so i can't grab it and check, but is a roasting bag 45cm X 55cm the usual size?!

PPH recommends 35x50 cm, I've heard of xl roasting bag used successfully.

I got so relieved when I got mine! I was so "happy" that I finally have the key to get out of this prison and be free...

But now, unfortunately, I feel stuck and trapped again... It's not easy to get out even when you have the key.

After installing the regulator, did you fully open the cylinder valve? So you turned the valve all the way to one side, right?

Yeah. Tightly screwed on the regulator. Made sure the regulator was fully closed, then (slowly) opened the tank valve until I could see the pressure read out (which shot up to what you can see in the photo, very quickly).
