Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Whenever I test out this method my face gets extremely red and puffy.
What will that look like when I'm dead? Can the mortician fix that after the fact? I assume draining the blood from my body would reduce any weird bloating but I'm not certain
Anyone know what they can/can't do to make you look "normal" after such a CTB ticket?

The extent of a mortician's capacities to perform restorative art on your cadaver depends on how quickly you are found following your death.

When you die, you will empty your bowels and bladder due to your muscles relaxing, so make sure not to be wearing any clothes you don't want soiled. Your extremities (fingers, toes, face, lips etc.) will experience cyanosis due to the lack of oxygen, and turn blue. Your eyes will remain open and slowly fog up and lose color as decomposition advances. Your skin will flush extremely pale as warmth drains from your body and blood circulation stops, and after a few hours, around half of your body will have taken on a bloated appearance with an unsightly red color thanks to gravity causing your blood to coalesce in lower regions (for this reason, I recommend dying supine or upright if you want to make sure that your cadaver is as presentable as possible; the blood will be drained regardless and replaced with embalming fluid, but it can help preserve your features.).

Restorative art has come an extremely long way. Make-up will be used to give color to your face and limbs, eye caps will be put behind your eyelids to hold them shut and give you a peaceful appearance, putty will be inserted in your body to conceal any bumps or damages, your jaw will be sewn shut and your lips modeled into a soft smile. Rest assured, assuming that you are found in less than 24 hours, you will appear normal and at peace.

Of course, this is assuming that you have sorted out your funeral proceedings ahead of time, and told the mortuary home exactly how you want your cadaver to be processed. Otherwise, it is up to your closest next-of-kin to decide if they want you cremated or embalmed, open or closed casket, etcetera.
