Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

just to preface my questions - I have not seen this discussed, and search results essentially non-existent.
if this is a real quick 'absolutely no way this could work', please do say so! I'm purely spit balling with this, and I thought it might be worthwhile to see what others think.

so, the SN method calls for a beta blocker. this is a method I've been giving it's due consideration for some time (over a year).
what I'm wondering, and could be dead wrong (lol) on, is the potential benefit of adding an alpha blocker.
I don't feel comfortable with the idea of a solely alpha blocker test ctb, though I have a fairly sizeable hoard.
being that alpha blockers lower BP (and speaking for myself, I have an already reasonably low BP, my need for the medication is unrelated; for others this may not be the case, whether they have medical need for a script or not at all), my very loose theory is that in great enough quantities perhaps the addition of these to an SN regimen might (key word!) be beneficial.

obviously this is a very shaky foundation for hypothesizing, so any comments, questions, criticisms, etc., are welcome.
thanks in advance to anyone who might read and feel inclined to reply.

I don't know... What I can say is that the latest PPeH has even removed beta blockers from the recommended routine with SN, stating that there is debate about whether or not the use of beta blockers could increase the time of death with SN. So I wouldn't put much thought into adding in untested alpha blockers. The downside just highly outweighs the benefits.

thank you! I still have research to do on the method. I definitely wasn't planning on acting on my admittedly flimsy theory. I appreciate your reply.

No problem! Definitely update me on what you find. I'm particularly interested in improving on the SN method. I think there are many ways we can make it more like N, with resources easily available.

I am interested too, namely because I have access to Clonidine and not Propranolol. Fiddling with the tried and true instructions seems very risky though.
