He looks a bit like me. He's scared and very insecure. According to the people from the pet shelter where i found him, he was found alone in the woods, barely 18 months old, 2 kilogram and full of lice and ticks. He's now 4 years old, I've been on multiple trainings with him, he stays so scared. It's really heartbreaking, he's a friendly little one who so badly wants to play with the other dogs outside, but he can't do it. I just don't understand people dumped him...

I also need a little positivity today - it's a day full of anxiety for me. I guess some positivity for me is that what awaits me is a 4-daay weekend due to the easter holiday.

Purple is my favourite colour. My fav song is "It's whatever " by the goddess herself, the late Aaliyah. I love nature and being out in it. My favourite food is curry and hog roast sausage. My fav season is all of them. Here is my cat "Tyson"
Ignore the ratchet rug that he's sitting on. My neighbour gave it to me. Also Tyson hated the flash of the camera, that's why he's squinting. He's 11 years old. He's a dude.

Neuropathy is the least of my issues. Not even feeling it these days. Being tied to the toilet is currently my biggest problem, I can't venture more than half an hour away round trip.
I can't afford to keep a dog, I can't reliably give a dog exercise or the care it would need and I can barely look after myself let alone another. Plus my house is unsuitable for a dog, I only have a tiny yard and next door have a dog that spends all day barking at me to get my attention and he doesn't like other dogs.
No, it would be wrong of me to have a dog. Wish so much it was different though.

Neuropathy is the least of my issues. Not even feeling it these days. Being tied to the toilet is currently my biggest problem, I can't venture more than half an hour away round trip.
I can't afford to keep a dog, I can't reliably give a dog exercise or the care it would need and I can barely look after myself let alone another. Plus my house is unsuitable for a dog, I only have a tiny yard and next door have a dog that spends all day barking at me to get my attention and he doesn't like other dogs.
No, it would be wrong of me to have a dog. Wish so much it was different though.

Dobs doesn't like long walks, 20 minutes tops. But to compensate that and still let him have exercise, my livingroom is large enough. He's so small, he probably could fit in your coat pocket :)

Don't tempt me! My house is tiny. Id so love a puppy but I'm well aware of how much work they are. I content myself with making friends with other people's dogs. For some reason they always love me, even if I ignore them. I never ignore them though, I usually ignore the people instead.

Back on topic...

Something positive:

I have a peculiar behaviour.
I try to always get as much life out of something as possible. Cars, technology, anything really...I don't replace unless worn out and not fit for purpose. I keep old mobile phones for example and re-use them as muggers phones or music players.
I scavenge.
I make things out of stuff other people chuck away. Especially in the garden. I scout the area for discarded masonry, bricks and plants.
I acquire plants for the garden by taking cuttings or plugs from the woods or adjacent to local gardens.
My furniture is made up exclusively of donations or inherited items and looks rather. ..eclectic, as does the garden.
Yes I'm cheapskate lol but you'd be amazed what people throw away in the mad rush to get something shinier.

I've found something to occupy my time a bit recently, i'm helping out moderating an internet forum often frequented by some 'interesting' people. I won't say which one. Up to now i've been trolled, called names, accused of various things like being overzealous (honestly i haven't been) while spending hours sitting there watching out for and occasionally deleting content that could be illegal or get a website removed by its hosting company. The website probably won't last long but it's been ok up to now.

Edit: to add that todays proceedings were interesting, there's been a person for who for hours was off and on creating new topics and then replying to themselves as though they were someone else with a different username, but i could see the ip address and knew it was the same person. Idk why the person did this.

I used to live in a university town. If you wanted to get rid of any furniture or kitchen appliance s you just left them in the street outside your house during term time. They'd usually be gone the next morning. Students will steal anything when they're drunk.
Any students who feel I'm picking on them...you've done this yourself haven't you, go on, you know you have. I have. I got a fridge freezer and a sideboard out of it too.
