Really, nothing. If you asked me a few weeks ago there would always be something, but nothing good is happening anymore.

I found a desk in a back alley. Exactly what i was looking for. I also found a bedding chest that can be salvaged to put records in. Unfortunately, it's outside in the rain because I have no where to dry it out before refurbishing it.

I found a pair of jeans that I actually like. I have never liked the feel of denim on my skin. I have also never found any that fit in a way that is comfortable. I don't like tight pants because 1) they are restrictive and 2) modesty. Everybody wears jeans except me.

I was in the men's dept and saw these fleece lined jeans so tried them on and hooray! They are a bit big but that's okay, I can take in the waist. Went back and got another, a size smaller and even better. I will wear them today when I go to town to vote. Now I can blend in!

I finally realized my girlfriend is trying to stop me from ctbing (i'm not so open about it but I say controversial things) making me think about her mother. She put her mother's jacket (the one she was wearing when found hanging) onto my neck while I was crying in bed, as a lucky charm. I found it very sweet and caring.
My niece smiling at me and looking for me. My nephew missing me when I went home, my father in law appreciating me...it was a rather happy week overall.

Ya. I'm not sure at what point of his timeline it was, but Electro-Shock Blues is all about it. Probably the most depressing album I've ever listened to. Simply heartbreaking. Beautiful Freak has hints of it, but I think it might have been a little time after it happened.

I found an aluminium wire mesh square basket in a back alley on my weekly scavenging run. It's waterproof and will sit out in the yard and store random stuff. I also picked up another crate from the builder over the road and walked it up into the field to put leaf litter in it. Eucalyptus wood. Dense, heavy, that was my exercise for the week. Now i need more leaves.

I still remember, I am 64, and NO it is NOT about age but respect, having a new employee like me who is 22, talk down to me and embarress me in front of everyone else, becasue I was " too old" to learn more about software and computers. I wish that experience on NO ONE EVER!

Yeah, fuck that, they may know the current systems but they lack the experience that extends to everything, no matter how new or different. Cunning and experience wins over youth and horsepower, every time. It's just a shame that people don't realise it until it's too late.
