Enough thinking has led me to the conclusion that I guess I feel the need to have a plan again. My original method of firearm remains, however, my questions are more so the likely response. For context, I will drive to the western reaches of Texas - and find somewhere remote. Maybe I will walk to somewhere where it is quiet, get a view that's nice and then pull the trigger. I still have immense reservations about actually going through with it, and I don't find it likely it will be soon so this is more so information gathering. How long would it take for someone to find me? Is there a way to prevent that -- meaning, I don't want to traumatize some poor soul with my head blown open. Moreover, if I end up driving out until I run out of gas, then walk deeper into more desert, how long would it take police to get there, find me and alert family? Possibly naive questions, but I digress.
