Poem I wrote

I've barely slept in a week so don't expect this to be anything stellar but just wrote down how I felt:

Just sitting here waiting for the end
You lied to me, abandoned me and left me again

Was it worth it as you walk through the colors of your life
All of your stories you tell of how what you did was right

We can't share the world anymore
You've left no place to go to
but somewhere I've never been before

All your promises are gone just like me
Thrown like my ashes into the sea

And I'll become nothing again
And you'll have your peace

There was never a promise you could keep

I might be preaching to the converted, but please don't be gaslighted. They are a liar.

If I were them, I'd rather be destitute than exploit and dump you and spend "colourful" life.

That's really incredibly sweet of you to say. Thank you.

Yes my ex promised to never hurt me
He promised to be with me forever
He promised we'd start a family and a life together and he'd be here always

He left me when I lost our baby and I had a miscarriage, he didn't even call me, then two days later he dumped me to go back to his ex. I wanted to die then but he promised to always be here for me at least in some way.

Then he just left me again.

I'm so sorry to hear your story... It's definitely a mental (and possibly a physical) torture!
I read another thread you started and felt that your situation is genuinely hopeless... Sorry, I don't have any word to comfort you...

You seem to have a plan to end all your agony,
which caused by his promises, now turned out to be phony.
I can't stop you; It's your choice.
I just hope you find peace.
