Plans changed, much importance

I was planning on catching the bus by the end of 2025, evidently, the day came and went
Now id say the action could be more imminent, not now. Maybe it's moreso hypothetical
Origianlly the plan was to hang myself (the proper way) and to automatically contact someone (like the hospital not a civilian) afterwards with an auto hotkey script but i really dont believe im confident enough to do it anymore
i dont have the ligament/rope, i havent been able to yknow make sure to secure anything to hold my weight and actually asphyxiate me

what's the consensus on jumping off a bridge? Like Cerpin Taxt.
i dont want to jump off a highway like him though, considering the risk that poses to other people, i could land cause a crash.. not desirable
i do live near a body of water let's say, so what's the consensus of jumping off a bridge into water? is that so surefire?

as i said suffering isnt much of a concern; i have half a bottle of whiskey so if i really dont want to deal with it then i dont mind one last night with jack daniels
it's worth noting that i do live in a pretty cold place (northeast america) so it's gonna be a real cold swim... it's not like that matters though right, it's not like im gonna muster the will to save myself because of how cold it is
ive decided that it is optimal enough for serious consideration
with me, we are now entering a "speak now or forever hold your peace" situation;
is therre anything i must critically know about this method, of leaping into water from a bridge, that must be considered
