This looks like a simple lashing strap not a ratchet tie-down. It will be difficult to tighten sufficiently. And I don't see why it would need to be wider.So bit bemused when this arrived today. Was thinking the strap would be wider. Any thoughts?
Is there anything that clearly made the difference for you when you were practicing? Did you perhaps not need to practice a lot at all?I did pass out from night-night while I was testing my setup. The strap was loosened before any real damage was done to me by someone I met on here, so I know that it works
It was more of a test, and when I decide to CTB I know exactly what to do. The main issue I had was finding the "sweet spot" for thr padding. Other than that, I had no issues whatsoever, not even SIIs there anything that clearly made the difference for you when you were practicing? Did you perhaps not need to practice a lot at all?
Wait so the ratchet doesn't have to be on the back of your neck? I thought it did. Trying to keep it on the back of my neck and tighten it that way has been making it a lot harder for me. When I have had pressure in my head, I was blocking the jugular veins, not the carotids, so you may not have the right spot

When i did it i felt pressure in my head too and my face was all red. So i was doing it wrong?
