Hello. this is my first post, I am sorry if I misunderstand the forum's format.

I'm well aware that cutting is not reliable as a suicide method and has a success rate so low its practically non existent, but I've found myself considering suicide by cutting again.

For years I've been self harming as a coping mechanism, not expecting to die from the wounds, but i recently found myself capable of reaching muscle tissue with a single slash of a razorblade.

I was wondering if I should try to cut as close as I can to the radial artery. I've seen a few pictures of both successful and failed suicide attempts by slit wrists, and most of them had cuts that reached the hypodermis/ fat layer, which i know i can do with relative ease.

And if I turn out unable to reach the artery, it's just a regular relapse, with little to no drawbacks that I don't already have to deal with on a regular basis. I'm covered in hideous scars, I'm pretty sure I have damaged my insides to some extent by now and I have also been to the mental hospital now, I wouldn't have many added risks by cutting in a conveniently potentially lethal way, would I?

It really is not a reliable method at all, even if you manage to cut into an artery It could still clog.

if it clogs it means i dont need to go to the hospital for it, still works for me
if you do cut that deep, make sure it doesn't get infected
