10mm could be too thin if you are heavy, 20mm could take longer if you are very slim...

Maybe so, but when your hanging, your hanging, and no way out most likely...

That´s true, but if the rope is too thin it could break.. And if it´s too thick you wan´t suffer longer, why should you do that?

Well, Hanging on have tried 7 times partial hanging, and so many others and failed, so full suspension must be better..

That's why I was unsuccessful as well - too easy to stop. I think taking drugs getting drunk strategically (not so out of it that one messes up) would def help next time.

I'm probably just not doing it properly but I've never managed to get partial suspension to work. Sometimes it's been that I've cut off blood going away from the head but not to it so it gets super uncomfortable like my head is going to explode, other times I'll get this uncontrollable urge to swallow and I think doing so must loosened things enough to let blood through momentarily or something because I just don't pass out.

It's not only about knot, pressure points are also important

Yes. It is not exactly rocket science. As long as you have a rope or something that can hold your weight and a sturdy doorknob, of course. The hardest thing is fighting the survival instinct.

i think if i chose this method i would take enough benzos to knock out a horse and get into my chosen position. The survival instinct would be at least reduced if you're rapidly going under from the drugs, no? Perhaps..

I never tried benzos. Do they make unconscious quickly?

The more one takes the quicker it is, especially with alcohol. It's not going to happen immediately but my point was about the survival instinct being reduced by them while becoming unconscious from lack of blood flow.

Ten minutes later I will go to the garage to hang myself again. Probably this time I will success. Everything is prepared I just have to fight the fear I feel. Not easy. I will try partial with a typical knot position, this time I will pad the rope at the front. Thanks for this site it eased my mind so much to know there are people like me everywhere on this planet. 12:07 Never so close, my vision blackened my ears was full of hissing and I stood up get off the rope from the hook and collapsed. What a mess. That 8-10 seconds is too much but keep trying I have 2 hours more alone to finish myself. I have a thick hood for padding and this way it didn't hurt so much. So it's possible to happen.
14:07 I have to give it up again. Cold panic in my chest every time when my vision is vanishing, trembling hands and legs, collapsed two times after I cursed myself to get off the rope. Confused and hopeless, I can't live and I'm not strong enough to die. I will end on the streets in shame and much more pain and I can't escape.
It seems partial is more difficult than full suspension but I simply not brave enough to choose the sure way.
I have one more hour and still trying. Closer and closer to faint when hanged and it seems soon I can accept the feeling of lost control.

It's not easy. I have a noose prepared in the bathroom and have practiced positioning, written a letter to my mother and made a will and all that jazz. I've had all the equipment necessary for CO in the back of the car for 2 months. This morning the only thing that got me out of bed was to go in there. So, I'm planning to do a partial suspension next Thursday. Bought the rope today, learned to make a noose from a YT video.

Tried the method quickly, to get acquainted. However, I apparently fell into that failure mode where my face became all red, I felt the pressure building up, and a lot of pain. Unconsciousness didn't seem anywhere near. I couldn't stand it for long.

Is this a knot positioning issue? I need to watch more videos....

Try 'typical' position, when the knot is behind your neck it works fine. You must really hang from the rope to press the front of your neck upwards. Don't need too much strength. This is the V shape. As they told before you will know when you make it right. Completely different feeling than closing the veins only. I feel instant cold fear in my chest and dizzyness.

Her death wasn't pain-free. See her face getting purple. All pressure inside veins of face.

She don't "fight", that are strange... All the times I've tried partial hanging, even in first seconds when u start to get "disgusting" your body try to take out the rope or change the position automaticamente, if I persist, my body will kick, agitated, get seizures... I mean, she just laid and die? Sounds very peaceful
And that's makes me think, I had the impression if I do it lying down I could feel more "comfortable" and act against my instincts
But I never seem to get it lying down, only in other positions!

Alcohol and other downers doesn't help me, it don't kill your survival instinct. But anyway, I hope you succeed.

I think decapitation is almost instant game over, probably a few secondsof a wtf moment but after that it's over. My parents wont appreciate but they know my Dr reamed my azz when he prescribed the goof meds
