Hello!

I am still deciding on the method I wanna use and I'm asking myself if one could hang themselves with a scarf?
(I'm talking about partial hanging)
If yes, does the material that it's made off play a role?

People have managed to hang themselves with all sorts of materials, I don't personally understand how, though.

I'm glad it worked for them. All I managed to get from my partial attempts were ptecchia which are little red dots on my face which took 2 weeks to disappear.

I had that as well, although they went quite quickly. My throat really hurt though!

I tried partial on a doorknob with a scarf and it would've worked. You just gotta find the right place and tie a proper knot.

Just a regular knot? Because I don't think a slipknot works with this.

Why didn't it work?
The knot was slippery. At some point, after a few attempts, it stopped slipping but my SI kicked in and I was afraid I would screw it up. So I backed out and gave up.

I used a slipknot. But then I tried with a thick belt and it worked. I guess it was because of the scarf's fabric.
