Partial hanging-need help

Hi.im thinking of doing partial hanging.i know i should tie slit knot at the end that im going to hang my neck.im using my pull up bar for hanging.how should i tie the other end to the pull up bar?I only manage to get a 5-6m rope which i think its too long.what should i do?

I attempted with partial and wasn't able to make it work. I'm not sure it's possible for everyone, but maybe the ones it worked for just aren't here to say so.

Could be. But it also could be because they're not. I see more posts about failed partial hanging attempts than I do of people saying goodbye prior to their attempt then going dark (which could indicate success.) Just seems like a hard way to go, even though the celebrities make it look easy.

Partial seems pretty tough. Used to place a pass out game when we were younger where would hyperventiliate then hold your breath and cross arms as your friend squeezed your chest. I'm wondering if this would work to minimize any time spent with discomfort.
