I have more than enough of time to hang my self. I've tried holding my carotids for some time to see if I got the sweet spot before I actually attempt but holding my carotids arteries doesn't seem to make me pass out and it kinda gives the head exploding sensation.

What am I doing wrong and does partial hanging blocks your airway as well?

I heard if you experience the 'head exploding' sensation you're putting pressure on the jugular veins, not the carotid arteries.

Which isn't necessarily about position, but force. You need a lot more force to compress the carotids and most people, by the amount of help and guiding requested, can't do it instinctively.

I couldn't do it with my hands either. You could try using the noose with your hands and pulling from the back of the neck like how it would be. It helped me get it right at least.

I tested it with my hands to find it and thought I foud nit and tested it with a tie. I only started having a kind of buzzing feeling around my mouth and mainly nose. I think I did the test wrong.

many people use this method. robin williams did partial with a belt, and kate spade did partial on a doorknob with a scarf. Sometimes I wonder if being impulsive as compared to planning is the secret. Meaning, in that moment you know you want to die, and you aren't thinking of anything but succeeding.
