So I'm still in hospital after the welfare check. Everyone is nice here but I'm just worried about my parents. Because they still don't know the real reason why I'm here.

Well, after a few session with the psychiatrist and the physician assistant they said that they have to inform my parents because of the real reason why I am here even though I'm an adult because I live with them

I knew this was inevitable but I don't want to face them. And I don't what to say to them when I inevitably go home

You don't have to say anything to them if you don't want to. But living with them right now maybe would be good idea to talk about that with your Therapist/Psych while in hospital so they might be able to help you with that part. Also how to face them? Well tell them the truth since they are going to find out anyway and try to set a limit on how much you are willing to talk to them about this. You need time. You maybe want help or not but that is up to you and talking to them is not necessarily a good or bad thing but do it in your time when you are ready and if not that is your choice too. Maybe instead of worrying about how to face them and what to say to them you can take this time to decide if you want to work on why you ended up there, what was going on and if you want to do anything about that.? I don't have any answers but I hope you can think about that part anyway before being discharged and let go home. Sometimes you can help Yourself and sometimes you might need a little help but it is ultimately up to you. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. Including this. I wish you the very best Journey through this next part of your life and it goes the way you want it to in the safest and best way possible. No matter what your choice is I wish it be the best possible one for you. Peace.

Sounds like a difficult situation. But do you really have to tell them? I think not, until you're ready. I don't know your situation of course but I've known way too many parents that make their adult children unable or unwilling to tell them difficult things. Hopefully that's not what you're facing.
