Omperazole, (sp?)

I'm looking into the sn method and understand that you should take anti-acids. I take everyday prescribed by my doctor omperazole as I suffer quite badly with heartburn/acid reflux. So would these be OK as my ant acids? Also do you think that as I already suffer badly with acid reflux it perhaps isn't a good idea to do the sn method?

According to the SN megathread PPIs like Losec (Omeprazole) should be avoided. Only histamine H2 receptor antagonists like Tagamet or Zantac are recommended. I don't know if acid reflux will affect how successful it is. I have GERD and used to take Omeprazole, so I'm wondering too.
