Everyone always says paracetamol od don't work but I've never taken any before and I have 30ish I can always get more. Will it work? I don't want to be ready and then wake up. I'm desperate
There's still a lot of questions and inquiries about ODs, and people asking about what things may facilitate a successful attempt. Let's be clear, ODs are rarely fatal. Why? For a couple of reasons: (1) modern medications are designed to be very safe, as manufacturers aim to avoid deaths that...

Paracetamol's LD50 (the dosage which would kill half of the human population) is 1944mg/kg, meaning a 60kg-ish person would need as much as approx. 230 500mg pills to have a 50% chance to CTB. The heavier you are the more pills you need. 230 pills is much. You'd most likely throw it all up before it has even a remote chance of killing you. Moreover, paracetamol poisoning Is often described as particularly painful and uncomfortable, your organs shutting down one after another. All in all, a non-method which should not be attempted.

OD has less than 14% success rate & that's including the most dangerous drugs.
Look elsewhere, as your more likely to wake up physically or mentally disabled.
I'm sorry you are at the point in life of looking for a way out but OD isn't that way out.
I hope you are able to find peace in whatever choices you make
I took 256 paramol (paracetamol 500mg x Dihydrocodeine 7.46mg in each tab) and 10x 75mg Amitriptyline.
I was in hospital, ICU for 4 days/ ward for 3 days and incredibly poorly - but I am still alive. I will never OD again because even when you take above the LD50, it's not a guaranteed outcome.
