Goldberg Variations recorded by Glen Gould 1955. Some might prefer the 80s recording he made with more authenticity to the spirit of bach. He recognised later that his 55 recording didn't have enough dignity, in his view and i tend to agree. For fans of Gould, there is an interview with him at the end of the 80s recording that is well worth a listen. A genius.
