i got one from a girl actually, but i don't think it's a girl?? but she was a strange one, she's banned now, asked a lot of people if they go to uni, and kept asking how i would ctb, then say "i heard it makes you shit/piss, embarrassing isn't it???" and claimed they came onto the forum to save suicidal girls from killing themselves. really weird

i've reported a number of people in my pm's, i'm actually a bit shocked at what kinda people are on here. not even for racist issues, but also people who come on here to be point blank creepy. one messaged me asking me how to say summat in polish, then proceeded to treat the forum as a tinder. he asked me if i was to kill myself, if i could call him whilst i'm doing it. stuff like that you know? it's why i'm thinking of just going back to reddit at times

I am so sorry that you have encountered that :-( This should be ultimately a 'safe' place for us, one of the very few you can be as open as we are. Whether it be in real life or on the internet you will find unsavoury people who have beliefs that hinder humanity and not promote it to the best it could be. I must admit I have seen a few posts where people have responded in a creepy way with comments like 'you are so pretty' or 'you have lovely eyes' and it is soooo inappropriate and wrong. As others have said, report them, not sure if I am breaking a rule here so this would need advice from the moderators, but I would also 'name and shame' them so that others don't look at their messages.

But racism in the UK has got worse since the Brexit vote sadly. It seems to have given licence to that type of person to act in a way that is vile. Ironically, Britain isn't really a 'pure' country. More people come from descendents of immigration than those that have a bloodline of thousands of years from this island. One great example is the British Royal Family!

Please don't take this crap, speak up. You will be doing the whole forum a favour

That's the nature of the internet, sadly. It's best to stay as anonymous as possible on these forums.

In my early 20s, I had a YouTube channel that was growing fast, and one guy who commented on my videos a lot and thought I was pretty was able to find out my last name and where I lived, and he told me he was going to come to my house and look at me through the window. It was so scary. :/ I told everyone in my YouTube community, so they could tell him that was not cool.

So, stay safe! It's good you're sharing with us that you receive these PMs, to scare off the creeps. Hope you don't deal with more harassment here. :)

Personally the fact that these creeps are here and are continuing makes me angry. Diminishes its integrity in my honest opinion.

Edit: In fact i am going to add to the above comment. If people are here looking for vulnerable people to manipulate, either emotionally or financially, then it should be against the rules and they should be banned immediately. If one of the reasons that people are here are through those two reasons then it just makes a bad situation worse.
