The one thing I can say about this site is that it will help you find a method. I just don't think you can see it yet with what is going on with you at the moment. For information, the technique you are suggesting with a gun may not work either.

For me this falls into the catagory of 'a little bit of knowledge is dangerous' You really need to spend time going through all the facts of all the methods. This takes time and effort. For me it changed my preferred method to SN and I was team 'inert gas' all the way before reading everything

There is no guarantee. Just like there was no guarantee any of us would have a good life bestowed upon us at birth. You just have to pick the method with the best odds, that also feels right for you..and cross your fingers.

I think a few people have tried the shotgun through the mouth and ended up blowing off their faces and surviving. There was a thread awhile ago about what type of gun to use, what type of bullet, and where to aim. In it, someone posted about the failed shotgun incidents, one or two ending in full face transplants. Nightmare fuel if you ask me. But I will probably be going back to that thread if-by a miracle-I ever gain access to firearms.

Yea, N seems to be reliable if obtained, and we all know of at least one surefire case of SN working.

Have you thought of Carbon monoxide poioning, the only real dangers in the case of failure is headaches and nausea for a few days at most, i think you can get permanent lung damage but thats extremely rare to do

Any method is worse than Pheno, at least pheno is a barbiturate.
If your concerning about pheno is its speed, adding it a benzo.

Actually the worst and scariest damage of CO failure is brain damage. If before death is achieved by asphyxiation, someone rescues you/the CO concentration suddenly drops after oxygen is depleted in the brain, your brain cells will start dying and the effect is irreversible.

You can get brain, neurological damage, and lung damage. I have lung damage from it.

Even though it is incredibly difficult at times to focus, spending some time going through the methods section I found was essential. The OP has produced a number of threads on 'this is my method' and then looks like they have talked themselves out of it by looking at some misinformation.

Once I sat down, read all the good information, used google to look at other places (especially medical ones) to verify some facts I actually reached a place of some peace. Now that I have all the things I need and can touch them everyday I am at more peace.

This is the biggest thing we have done since being born so it really needs a lot of consideration. I would be cautious of telling people to do a particular method, but if there was a question about something that I know (in this case SN), I am happy to share

Speaking of a 9mm or .45 ACP round, yes, those are more than sufficient for death, provided that you aim correctly. There is a guns/firearms megathread that speaks about using firearms as a method. It is one of the most reliable methods for suicide, provided you handle it correctly. NEVER aim underneath your chin, as that would result in a high chance of failure and also aim to hit the brainstem through the mouth (long gun) and that shotguns with 00 buckshot or slugs are very close to being failproof as long as you aim it through the back of your mouth close to the brainstem. I don't believe it would hurt unless you fail. Chances are when the weapon goes off, you will be unconscious and unable to hear/feel pain.

I can't pull that off. I would aim wrong. If I did it i would have to aim temple. Is 9mm or .45 better for skull penetration? 9mm moves faster and .45 is bigger but slower.

Also inert gas is pretty good, as well as heroin IMO. Both are reliable.
