Everyone close to me knows I'm suicidal. My parents know. My doctor knows. My naturopath knows. My therapist knows. My friends know.

But no one can help me. They all want to, but none of them can. None of them can make the burning feeling in my intestines from IBS go away. The pain will eventually make me commit suicide. I can feel it coming, probably just a few months I hope.

That sounds really dreadful to me, I see it as so cruel how there's all this suffering in existing. But anyway I wish you the best.

Man, that sucks. I'm guessing you've had all the tests for conditions like Crohn's and coeliac and they've come back negative. The same thing happened to me - in part it was a relief but also frustrating to not have a cause. I'm guessing you've also tried restriction diets and had no success. I had quite a bit of success initially cutting out lactose, and then restricting FODMAPs more broadly (especially cutting out garlic).

Using painkillers is a double-edged sword, you need codeine (or something stronger) to take away the pain (somewhat) but it affects gastrointestinal mobility.

I so much understand how you feel. I suffer from my digestion so badly, my whole system is damaged. Probably caused my self pancreatitis by harsh keto diet, that is very hard to diagnose. Doctors tried to tell me I've got IBS by ruling out other options but its not the case. No one understands me including my wife. It ads up to other orthopedic health issues and childhood CPTSD. I cant get a job, soon will have no money left, got to CTB very soon. My digestion is so bad I don't think I can absorb SN if I try and cant source it anyway.

suffering from digestive illness too. (among other health issues) everything changed overnight I woke up sick and never got better. all test come back normal and it's deemed "functional". my eating habits have suffered I hate eating now my body and mind has suffered immensely. I don't see how I can get myself out of this hole when the medical field can't find anything wrong or give me proper treatment. I was a totally different person a year ago. Now all I want is peace and for this suffering to end.
