For me I don't always look forward to a new year it simply reminds me of my anguish and sorrow how long will I continue with this pain? Guess it will be over soon

I understand, for me every year in this futile, torturous existence is just pointless suffering, all I hope for is to never exist ever again, I just wish for permanent peace from the burden of existing, I also find it painful to suffer in this existence.
