I don't get some of these comments. You are literally on a forum that is dedicated to people killing themselves. Apparently y'all think the act of doing it is fine, but you start complaining when you actually see it happening.
This is just as educational (I would argue even more) as a topic describing how to do it with pictures made in Paint.
Yes videos like these might not be for everyone. OP made a very clear title so you either enter or you don't.
Sorry, I disagree with this, you can be OK with someone's right to end their own life but it doesn't mean you have to take pleasure in watching people in that moment. This was a difficult watch for me.
I get where you're coming from and I suppose the rules here allow for posts like that, which is a little concerning as I'd never want this to become a place where people come to find videos of that type because they have some form of a 'kink' for it.
That all being said I can see the argument that it is a good educational resource on what not to do if you're going to choose this method.
Personally, I don't understand why people want to choose a method like this, I worked in a care home and seen someone left paralysed from hanging so could never go through with that. When there's methods like SN out there, that appear to be more reliable and peaceful I find it hard to justify any other methods but I respect and understand that people are adults and have the right to choose the 'best' method for them personally. SN wont be available to everyone and I get that.
I don't know, I just feel like your response was kind of 'your on a suicide forum so you're supposed to like watching people kill themselves' which I know isn't what you said directly but that's how I and a few others have taken it.
I personally think anyone who's come to the point of having to end their own life, that's a pretty sad place to end up, I don't rejoice in anyone's suicide I just hope that they found the peace they were looking for and respect their decision.
The only time I'd feel anything close to 'happiness' is when that 100+ year old man chose to end his life, I get that. I also get it in cases of terminal illness as well but still find it sad that life dealt them those cards.
Of course I find comfort in the fact people aren't going through their suffering anymore as well.
Sorry, I'm ranting on now, my point was just because I suppose pro-choice doesn't mean I have to like watching or seeing these videos but I respect the point they act as an educational resource.
