I know this is what's most ideal (and what I would like the most) but, as we all know, it's becoming more and more difficult to get (and easier and easier to get scammed) and it's a bit more legally risky to get. Cops won't care your reasons for illegally obtaining a controlled substance, you're still breaking the law and that's all they care about.
Seconal is obviously out of the question, to the point that it's never even discussed here, so I won't waste my time talking about that.
However, our dear friend phenobarbital is at least a little more easy to get your hands on...
It's a first-line treatment for epilepsy in developing countries and is still occasionally (albeit rarely) prescribed for drug-resistant epilepsy in the west. It's prescribed by veterinarians for dogs with epilepsy. It's obviously much slower-acting and has a ridiculously long half life, but it's still a barbiturate. It may not be as ideal as Nembutal, but it's still got that thin therapeutic range, it still shouldn't be too hard to overdose on it especially if combined with benzos and alcohol just to really nail it down. You'd obviously need more than just a 30 days supply if you want to even have a shot at getting the job done, but it's far from impossible. You don't need to go all the way down to Peru to get it either. Other countries may not believe me that I need my own Nembutal so I can put down Fido in the comfort of his own home, but they may be a bit more open-minded if I say that Fido keeps "having these strange fits."
What are your thoughts? It may not be as ideal as Nembutal, but it's a whole lot better than nothing, and still a great step above just rolling the dice with alcohol and benzos. Nembutal is preferred, but I don't mind taking some of this stuff either and just taking a little longer to drift off to sleep and not wake up.
