I really just need to go but don't know where there's a high enough structure to jump from. Hanging, I just don't have anything to do it with and not sure how to tie whatever it is to an anchor point.
This works for some people. You can search for cases described in the forensic literature online (ligature strangulation), but this is a relatively rare type of CTB.
I don't feel like there would be enough specific pressure on the right location with the corn bags or socks.
I turned a rope round my neck and all that happened was my head went a horrible colour and felt like it was going to explode.
That means there was not enough pressure to block the carotids, and you only blocked the jugulars (btw this will lead to death too, but slightly uncomfortable), that is way there was the head exploding feeling.
