• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Not sure if I'll ever ctb but I NEED to know how just in case, so I have the option if I ever truly decide to. I plan to ctb in February of next year, so I've started planning(finally). I've finished writing notes for some people but I still have a few to go.

But first, some questions:
Does it hurt? I've heard it does but are there ways to make it hurt less? Asking about both partial and full suspension. If it does hurt, how badly on a scale of 1-10 and for how long? Are there ways to make it completely painless???

I need all the help with hanging I can get. I literally don't know how to do any of it, I need detailed instructions so I don't fuck it up. I don't have a rope, but I was thinking I could make one with some old bedsheets and cut them into strips and braid them. Would this work? Would it be secure? Also, I have no idea what to tie it to. I can't do it in the closet since I'm too heavy for those railings and I'm scared they will just rip off the wall, I was thinking the pipes in the basement might be sturdier? But I'm not sure, I'm afraid of breaking those too since it'll probably cause HUGE issues and if there's any chance of those pipes breaking, I can't risk it. So please let me know. I'm not sure if I'll do full suspension or partial, it really depends what I'm able to. I'm not sure yet, I feel like including a picture of the pipes would be helpful but I'm too paranoid to post any pictures of my house here. Maybe if I find a way to leave other details out and just the pipe then I'd share? Not sure, but somebody please help me. Maybe if I provided a picture, somebody could draw the rope setup, or draw it even without the picture. It would be helpful, but NO GORE OR ANYTHING I DON'T WANT TO SEE A REAL PERSON HANGING. If anyone shows me pictures they can't be gore or anything, I just need to figure out the rope setup. Do you guys really need pictures to help me figure this out??? I'd like to avoid showing any but if that's the only way then maybe I'm willing, maybe I'd color over them or something and turn it into a drawing so it doesn't look like my house?

Failed hanging a laughable amount of times

From someone with a lengthy history of failed hanging attempts (I'm fucking stupid) here's my personal experience.

Partial suspension doesn't hurt but it is definitely rather uncomfortable and hard to force yourself to keep going.

Full suspension hurts badly. The feeling of not being able to breathe and not being able to do anything about it sucks. But you do honestly pass out very quickly. As long as your not an idiot like me and are able to use a proper rope and tie a proper knot to the object your hanging from it should work.

20 seconds of pain doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things if your dead afterwards.

Just please be careful of brain damage.

I'm also an idiot unfortunately and I'm afraid if I try, it will just end up hurting like you said. 20 seconds isn't long, but pain can make it feel like an eternity. It seems both types of hanging require a certain amount of willpower that I just don't have. I'm also scared of brain damage, how did you avoid this with failed attempts??
