  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

It said the 'receiving' wallet address I generated would expire after 24 hours (I'm new to this whole thing so I didn't know you could set it to never expire. I changed it from 24 hours to 'never' but that was after I'd already generated the wallet ID, so I don't know if the changes were applied to the address or not afterward.)

Before realizing this, I used that specific address to transfer funds from Binance to my Electrum wallet. Does this mean that I'll lose the funds I transferred into that address once it 'expires' within 24 hours?

Basically I'm practicing sending Bitcoin to my desktop wallet ahead of time before I proceed with ordering from D so that I don't mess things up during the actual transaction (like I am now).

Edit: Nevermind, I resolved this specific issue.

Does your electrum wallet have a little clock under history that shows the incoming transaction and amount?

You should be good to go. The amount of BTC should be in the lower left corner. You can also check the history to see if the transaction is there. After that you can send it to exchange to XMR.

Hopefully you figured it out or this can help you.
