I feel like I need a good cry but I'm emotionally numb right now. I usually will cry if someone just looks at me funny, but for some reason I'm cry constipated. I just want to have a good cry and let it all out. I think it'll help with the anxiety that's building up inside me. Any suggestions on how to let the tears flow? I watched a sad movie and cried a bit but then it dried up.

Oh man. I'm such an easy crier. Maybe go the other direction and go for happy tears? Marriage proposal videos, soldiers coming home, kids meeting baby siblings, old people getting puppies, etc

I haven't been able to cry in years. I'm so numb. I just want to escape this hell.
I used to be an easy crier. I hated it and always tried to suppress the tears. Now I have the opposite problem.

sometimes where i get really anxious i start slapping my face and calling myself a ungrateful whiny loser in my head until it starts to hurt and i start crying. sometimes i just stare at my computer and my vision starts blurring without me crying because i'm too fixated on my negative thoughts. songs that i relate or memories that make me feel sad make me feel sad, too. sometimes all it takes to make me cry is thinking about something i'm anxious about.
