• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I enjoy looking at nature. My autism makes it very hard to actually interact with it. I get severe anxiety when I get in touch with plants...or animals...or rain...the only outdoor activity thats somewhat enjoyable is standing on top of a high mountain and just observing everything from afar. But not many mountains have roads or cable cars to get up there so its a very rare experience for me. I mostly just enjoy looking at the world through google earth.

Two words—mental marathon—sums up the ordeal that is the family vacation.

However, so generous has Mother Nature been this time round, that one week of agony might just be a small price to pay for what She has to offer...

This is cool! Sadly can't post photos but can always share some animal facts if you want. Animals counts as nature, right?

Did y'all know that clownfish change gender as they grow up? Isn't that crazy? Also, some lizards can clone themselves, litterary! And sharks also I think.

I would shoot myself in the head in a forest
I feel the same way too. There's just something poetic about disappearing into the wilderness and never returning. The peace, serenity, feeling connected with something greater than ourselves, and the yearning to "go home" and return to the Source.

A few years ago I wanted to go and watch the sunset on the beach of an offshore island of my country before I left. (It's a really beautiful place and I'll try to find some photos and put them up here sometime.) My plans went up in smoke however, due to the place being a goddamned tourist trap and it's near impossible to find a place where you wouldn't be found for at least a day...

With that being said I know that there're other good places within the Mainland to "do it". All you have to do is "wander off course" in a nature reserve. But to me the above place in particular has a special place in my heart, as it is where I had some of my fondest childhood memories.

Yes sometimes tourists fall from the cliffs and get very hurt, but seldom die. More often they die in the ocean.

Saw this pretty bell pepper at the supermarket yesterday. Being on the grocery list, I bought it in a heartbeat.

View attachment 151487

I once watched a video explaining that red, yellow and green peppers were in various stages of ripening, with green being the most unripe. It seemed unreal and I didn't believe it.

Until yesterday, that is.

That's so funny. It's like it can't decide what colour coat to put on.

I can't wait till there's enough snow that everything will be covered in it and then go to the park and take photos 😊 I did it a few years ago very early in the morning and the atmospehere was magical. There's even one spot that's like a circle without trees, with only one ginkgo tree in the middle. Such a shame that I lost those photos because my phone broke and I lost the laptop that had the copies :( I also love photographing the sky and filming it when there's a thunderstorm to catch the lightning. Maybe I'll get a proper camera some day and chase the storms lol
