I've always felt that astrology charts can be a useful tool for exploring myself, my inner world, and my life.

Recently, I used a astrology app to look at my natal chart. Although I'm only a beginner when it comes to astrology, I noticed that my chart seems to have many difficult/challenging aspects, and they seem to match my current situation really well.

Maybe that's why I find myself believing in it to some extent, because the interpretations feel surprisingly accurate. However, I've also read some arguments against astrology, so I'm a bit confused.

(sorry, my interpretation might be quite naive or mistaken as I'm not a professional at all )

-My Sun in the 5th house and Venus in the 5th house do seem to reflect reality

I really do value happiness and pleasure a lot. (although I'm actually a bit broke in real life, so I don't get to enjoy much of it lol)

-My chart ruler, Mars, only has difficult/challenging aspects:
Mars in the 2nd house square Venus and Saturn in the 5th house.

-Pluto in Sagittarius in the 9th

might explain my strong desire to go abroad. It almost feels like traveling to faraway places and having freedom is deeply tied to my sense of meaning and purpose in life.(though I haven't experienced it yet.)
Maybe it also explains why my worldview tend to go through ups and downs.

-The ruler of my 9th house, Jupiter, falls in the 8th house.
Maybe this means that when my 9th house themes get seriously blocked, it triggers some deeper existential stuff around life and death.

Has anyone here ever explored their own natal chart? I'd like to know how accurate you think natal chart aspects and interpretations really are.

thank you for reading this.

To be honest I think a lot of stuff surrounding astrology is so vague that just about any of it could apply to most people. That's what I've found to be the case looking at my own astrology charts/"predictions" and ones from others.

I agree with you.
I recently came across the concept of precession. because of axial precession, if I recalculate my Sun, Moon, and rising signs using the actual positions of the constellations in the night sky (sidereal zodiac), they shift by about one sign compared to the tropical zodiac. I've found that this version actually feels more accurate to me lol. maybe it's because the interpretations are vague that I can always find something relatable, even when switching systems…
