Hey guys, ive been planning my cbt for a while.

For some reason im really resistant to the exit bag option and i gravitate towards the masks.

I have a SCUBA build right now that im struggling with since theres slight incompatibility at the connections, and ill make a post about it later.

But my question is about the above ground option, SCBA mask that firefighters use.

The one sold on *EM here : *source

The problem im facing that its obscenely expensive, so my only option is to buy a cheaper regular one off the internet, that go for a fraction of that price.

Strangely enough i didn't find almost anyone discussing this method and it seems one of the more comfortable ways to go, but i still have questions such as :

How does one go about connecting and using the mask to the classic exit bag setup ( N tank+ flow regulator + the mask)

Do you need another regulator on top of that or any normal hose will do?

What kind of hose/mask brands, etc and general inquiries/discussion.

Please compile and share your information here.

You just need one regulator. Any hose that fit the barbed connector will do, I suggest buying the tubing last and any size reducer/enlarger if necessary to join them up
