As the commenter above posted, we do know it has a long shelf-life of decades if stored properly, but from the information I gathered, no one actually knows what the exact shelf-life truly is though many people seem to agree that it may become less and less potent the longer time passes so more caution is due. Be watchful of changes in N's color and consistency over time as this could indicate that it's becoming less potent. I heard that it's supposed to be clear and free of participates when it is first acquired, but that over time N can start to become yellow and participates can start to develop inside of it or at the bottom of it's storage container over time. I would appreciate it if anyone else has any more information about this or if anyone can confirm these stories' validity.
