Right now killing myself is the best option over housing. My roommate's aren't renewing the lease because they got married and I don't have anywhere to go. I only have 1.5 months to find a new place so killing myself is the best option. This time around things are harder than they were earlier in the year and last year. Homelessness in my area just keeps getting worse and people in my area are fighting against homeless housing because they want to increase their property values. It is just endless greed by landlords and homeowners that keeps this crisis getting worse. If I end my own life it also means landlords can't take anymore of my money and most people won't miss me. Things were actually calming down for a while right before my roommates decided they didn't want to renew the lease

I'm sorry that you are going thru this. I hope you find a better solution. It hurts that I can't help others like you, because I'm in a bad situation too. I hope you don't give upon finding housing, maybe something good will happen...

It sounds really awful what you are going through, this life is just so cruel, and I'm sorry that you are trapped in this situation. Life does just seem to be never ending problems and suffering for many people. I hope that in whatever happens, you find relief from your situation.

Having a roof and safe place should be a human right and yet so many people live on the street. So many young people too suffering when they should be living in safety. Its so cruel. Maybe your situation will work out well. After all, you found your current situ so maybe just keep the faith.

surely if you go to your local council office and tell them that you are literally homeless and when you leave their office you have no where at all to go they will help.. the councils in my district put people into emergency accommodation like a b n b or such.. don't let this be the only reason you ctb.. the is help. out there.. try and do what I said see what happens.

This time around finding housing is proving to be more difficult. I have bad credit and I was in the process of recovering financially. Now I'm going to end up on the streets. And I would rather die. Most people in america think all homeless people deserve to die, so therefore I deserve to die

This. Having a clean, private room with enough space for a bed, a chair and a table should be an unalienable human right.

Unfortunately, many cities and towns in the USA have very little safety net services for the homeless. Additionally, temporary housing tends to be given to families with children first. It's a sad state of things.

OP, there may be some services in your city or county perhaps. I hope there is at least. Also there are apps for finding a roommate situation. (NYC has a really good one.)

I hope things work out for you, whatever you choose. You don't deserve to die.

I do but only a sedan. I don't have the money to buy a SUV and can't afford the gas for a SUV.
I mean, if it comes to it you could live in a car as small as a sedan there's tons of information on 'car life' similar to 'van life' and you can live in there and house hunt simultaneously, also you can shower/bathroom for free at Facilities and stuff, if nothing else it Trumps living on the streets

Living in a sedan honestly isnt that bad. Some shelters or community outreach organizations have lists of safe places to park over night. Churchs also can be a decent resource in offering sanctioned parking space.
Shower at the gym, etc. Car living is pretty easy to be if youre looking for a way out

I don't want to live in a car. I wouldn't feel safe dealing with the police

2 words my friend: Stealth Camping

For as long as you don't have a bad parking spot and maybe some curtains or something blocking the windows at night, you won't need to worry about the police that much

Let your roommates know what you are going through. Let the guilt cause them some of the anguish they are causing you. Why suffer in silence?
