My neighbour's still harassing me

The one that was putting notes through my door, moaning about my music, moaning about me singing, and even moaning about the sound of me walking around in my flat.

I got in touch with the police about it, like someone on here suggested. They talked to him. The rude notes continued though, and I contacted the police again, and they said to contact the council. I did that. They asked him not to put any more rude notes through my door. He still does though.

He's noisy himself too! Not music, mostly banging. And it's usually when I'm listening to music, so I suspect it's deliberate.

Now I'm getting rubbish dumped outside my door, and put through my door! I've had apple cores, banana skins, wet teabags, egg shell etc put through my door! And it's always been on an evening when I've had my music on louder than usual, so I'm almost certain it's him. It's been going on for weeks!

In one of his rude notes, at the end of August, he said he'd contact the police every time he heard my music. I've only had the police here once about it since then. So that's evidence that the music isn't bothering him anywhere near as much as he makes out. The police did say my music was a bit loud that once (that was in late October), but the council have said the volume I have my music on now since then is acceptable.

How do I stop him putting rubbish through my door, or dumping it outside my door? There's not much the council or the police can do because there's no evidence.

Shall I just kill myself?

Killing your self will only make your annoying neighbor win, do you want to lose the fight? I would just go to him and and tell him he is annoying and record his acts when he is throwing notes and trash you will get evidence and even if you get asked by police you will have the full right and they can't touch you
Then you can finally get his ass sued

What about talking to him and hopefully come to some kind of agreement and peace?

I find neighbor harrasing really disturbing. I don't know why, it just makes me feel unsafe and makes me feel like my safe haven for me to be me is being invaded. I understand your distress on this matter. It feels so awful.

To be honest, all the disputes I've had with insane neighbors amounted to them being mentally disturbed. I doubt your music is actually the problem, your neighbor is deeply unwell and they can't change. I really hope you don't ctb over them though. That person is a bully.

That sounds like an horrible situation to be in. I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. Some people are just so cruel. I hope you can find a way to resolve it.

I'm too shy to talk to him. And that conversation would be a particularly difficult and unpleasant one.

Whoever annoys others so much (the neighbor, the relative etc.) is because he has serious mental disorders as well as a lot of frustration. Killing yourself for the neighbor doesn't seem like a good idea. Is it your property or are you rented? If you have the possibility to sell or cancel the rental contract, do it and change your neighborhood
