So I'm a middle aged man who was diagnosed a rare degenerative bone disease. Everyday of my life is utter agony and misery. Couple that with the mental illness and all the regret I feel over my life choices. I just don't want to live like this anymore. I don't want to hurt anymore I just want to take something and go to sleep and not wake up. What would be my best choice for a painless suicide?

N would, but it's not available at the moment, at least for the time being. Maybe never again. Who knows? SN can work, too, but getting harder to obtain, and is no way near aa comfortable a death as N. CO is an option, but it takes more effort to get the things needed, and there is a little more learning curve to overcome to make sure you do it properly. N2 is a very good method, but requires apparatus, at least a tank of N2, maybe a hood if you want that instead of a bag. A rope is cheap and hanging can be another option, either full or partial. It costs nothing to jump from a suitable height.

That sounds beyond horrifying. There are no words to really express how much I hate this life which inflicts such extreme suffering on people. The existence of life is tragic.
But unfortunately suicide is not as straightforward as just taking something and never waking again. If only it was then that would certainly be ideal.
All that anyone can do to end the pain is to research methods and decide what is best for themselves. I believe it to be a personal thing deciding what method is the most suitable, but I wish you freedom.

Amitryptiline cocktail is one some of us are considering. Generally good but not perfect efficacy
