I've watched this movie a while ago called Himizu and in summary it is about a young boy with depression and he sees no meaning in life and tries or repeatedly dreams of ctb. It's been my comfort movie ever since. I find movies where the character is going through the same thing as me comforting so I would like if any of you have any recommendations?

i don't fantacize about death in any way. but i'd like mine to be over. there was... oh yeah - that thread about 'do you like to watch suicide videos'. i've seen it so many times the past few days. there was also another one about bridging ctb and hmde? made that last acronym up. i have no interest. none at all. few members seem to. not surprising. i'd like to leave without any hate. what would it really matter? pretty sure there were ctbs in movies i watched but a movie about it? i'll pass.

Mar Adentro: About a man that dives into the sea and becomes quadriplegic (paralyzed from neck down) and then it follows him, how he copes with it & his legal battle with getting euthanasia.
2 Arms 1 Head is really good, not a film but a book written by a paraplegic philosopher, talks a lot about death and suicide as he kills himself, the ending was written while he was actively dying
Always liked Dead Poets Society (1989), Ben X (2007) and Soylent Green (1973). Now that (!) is what suicide should be like, completely unrestricted, peaceful, comfy, anytime and you get made into biscuits for other people. How cute is that?
Harmonium (2016) has a beautiful suicide scene (the movie's good too), it's not graphic but one should use headphones or proper speakers for full appreciation (pw: dive).
PS: Louis Theroux documentary "Choosing Death" was also very interesting. Made me research the method and brought me here.
EDITPS: Had forgotten "The Bridge (2006)" it's a documentary film on jumping from the GGB/SF, some of the friends and relatives were absolutely amazing in that.

yes please share , I meant I wanted movies where the protagonist is suffering with life in some way so I could relate in some way
I see, then perhaps give aforementioned Ben X (2007) a try. It's a Belgian-Dutch film about an adolescent suffering from Asperger's getting bullied at school and struggling with life in general. It's really good.

the movie is based on Conrad Roy's life before and after he committed suicide and his girlfriend Michelle who encouraged him over text messages to do it. She basically guided him until his last breath.
