Money and power rule civilization.
Agriculture replaced stone age life.
Money replaced barter.
Money gave man something to trust.
Now money is power.
Power controls powerlessness.

Housing costs money.
Electricity costs money.
Food costs money.
Clothes cost money.
Computers cost money.
Phones cost money.
Healthcare costs money.
Travels costs money.
It costs to live.

It even costs to die.
Switzerland´s euthanasia is for the rich.
The poor can neither afford to live nor die.
Poverty creates imprisonment.
Only nature is natural without money.
There is neither money nor power in nature.
No one rules over hunters and gatherers.
Nature is freedom.
Nature is where we belong.
Money is just a human invention.
Money - the most absurd invention.

Sad but true. The strong do what they will, and the weak suffer what they must. In this absurd world, even basic needs cost money. Everything is about money in this hell. Money gives you power

I get where you come from, but it's only one side of the story.

It is more about assets and power than just the money.
While the value of money can be influenced by the Federal Reserve, power retains its intrinsic value.

Money is merely a tool in the larger dynamics...

Power is the ability to make things happen, whether for good or for evil or for neither (a volcano has lots of power but it is neither good nor evil).

Money is simply a fungible agreed upon medium of exchange. Exchange predates humankind.

Power is a little nebulous. A high-ranking FBI agent, a senator, a judge, a diplomat, or even a state game warden (in the right setting) are powerful or have power but not necessarily money.
I think that money can buy influence and can make things happen so money can certainly be a form of power…

And please none of this "gold is money" nonsense…
