I think they would just make you sick , not kill you . I understand though .I have been taking them for years and have had moments when i thought of doing overdose with them. But no ,they would just make you very sick.
I used to be on mirtazipine.
If it was possible to o'd with it I would have tried. - but I didn't.
Also, if it was a risk my GP would have restricted my access to it. - but they didn't.
So no, not something worth trying.
Sorry you're feeling so desperate. I hope that you can find a different method or distract yourself & get through this rough patch.
It's more or less impossible to die from ODing on modern antidepressants. All you'll do is make life harder for yourself when you get closely watched and meds restricted in case you try again.
I'd say mirtazapine would be more useful as an antiemetic and a sleep aid.
However, as I read, while it is a sleep aid, that only works in low doses. So, I wouldn't get any ideas to overdose hoping it would knock you out.
