Help Meto stat dose

I understand the stat dose for Metoclopramide when taking N has been reduced from 60mg to 30mg in the PPEH.

Was the stat dose reduced because of possible side effects?

Would I be better off taking 60mg just to be safe or sticking with the recommended dose of 30mg?

I know you need to eat something light before taking the N. Would a sandwich be okay? Or too much?

i was not aware it has been reduced is that the advice from philip nitscke or whatever his name is ??

do you have a copy of the latest ppeh that states that dosage ??

I read about the smaller dosage in the October 2018 edition of the PPEH, from the resources thread.

Unfortunately I do not have the latest edition of the PPEH.

thats a bit worrying as i wont know the dose to take now ? be good if 30mg is enough i have always been put off ctb because of the 60mg seems a lot and more possibility of eps if you are not use to taking it id have though .
hope some one else can clarify this ,it would be very helpfull

Yes, hopefully someone with more knowledge can clarify the matter.

I'm sure 30mg is adequate. I just tend to worry too much about things and need to get this right.
