Meto (primperan) syrup? (+ Terrible side effect I experienced with metoclopramide)

I have a question about meto.
I can't get access to the pills so is the syrup okay?

Last year, I got my hands on primperan (the pills). I had the worst side effect : respiratory depression. I took two only two pills and slowly, my breathing started declining. It threw me into multiple panic attacks and I was jumping around and rolling on the floor to grasp for air. It was really traumatic, I'll never forget this experience. It was the most painful/uncomfortable/distressung experience of my life. It felt like being suffocated and for 2 hours straight I couldn't sit down or do anything other than debating myself...I felt so desperate that I wanted to hang myself that day.

I still plan on taking it again along with SN because... well. I don't really have a choice, if I don't wanna throw up haha.

The liquid meto and pills are the same thing. Personally, given your reaction, I think it's more important to have a second glass of SN there in case you vomit than having meto. Depending on how long it took for that reaction to happen, you might not be able to take SN afterwards and I wouldn't want to go through something like that again. Sounds horrific.
